Cookies policy

1. Use of Cookies

The website uses COOKIES and other similar mechanisms (hereinafter, COOKIES). A “COOKIE” is a small file that is stored on the user’s computer and allows us to recognize the user.

The main use of COOKIES is to identify the USER, not the person who enters the website www.indidogs.com, but the computer or the user session opened on the computer. COOKIES do not differentiate between people who use the same computer or browser. This feature allows us to control which pages USERS find useful and which ones do not. COOKIES are essential for the operation of the Internet. COOKIES cannot damage your computer and, on the other hand, when activated, they help us to identify and resolve errors.

This section provides information regarding COOKIES in relation to the second section of article 22 of Law 34/2002, of July 11, on information society services and electronic commerce, following its modification by Royal Decree Law 13/2012, of March 30, which transposes directives on internal electricity and gas markets and on electronic communications, and which adopts measures to correct deviations due to imbalances between the costs and income of the electricity and gas sectors.

2. Typology, purpose and operation

Depending on the entity that manages them:

Own cookies: are those that are sent to the USER from a computer or domain managed by INDIDOGS and from which the service requested by the USER is provided.

Third-party cookies: are those that are sent to the USER from a computer or domain that is not managed by INDIDOGS, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

2.2. Depending on your permanence

Session cookies: These are temporary cookies that remain in your browser's cookie file until you leave the website, so none of them are recorded on the user's hard drive. The information obtained through these cookies is used to analyse traffic patterns on the website. In the long run, this allows us to provide a better experience by improving the content and making it easier to use.

Permanent cookies: These are stored on your hard drive and are read by our website each time you visit the site. A permanent cookie has a specific expiry date. The cookie will stop working after this date. We generally use them to facilitate purchasing and registration services.

2.3. Depending on your objective

Performance Cookies: This type of COOKIE remembers your preferences for the tools found in the Services, so you do not have to reconfigure the Service each time you visit.

Geolocation Cookies: These COOKIES are used to find out which country you are in when you request a service. These COOKIES are completely anonymous, and are only used to help target content to your location.

Registration Cookies: Registration COOKIES are generated once the USER has registered or subsequently opened their session, and are used to identify them in the Services for the following purposes:

  • Keep the USER identified so that, if he/she closes a service, the browser or the computer and at another time or day re-enters said service, he/she will continue to be identified, thus facilitating his/her navigation without having to identify himself/herself again. This functionality can be deleted if the USER clicks on the “close session” function, so that these COOKIES are deleted and the next time he/she enters the service the USER will have to log in to be identified.
  • Check whether the USER is authorized to access certain Services.
  • Session COOKIES include those intended to facilitate USERS' online orders (shopping basket).
  • Additionally, some Services may use connectors with social networks such as Facebook or Twitter. When the USER registers in a Service with social network credentials, he/she authorizes the social network to save a persistent COOKIE that remembers his/her identity and grants him/her access to the Services until it expires. The USER can delete this Cookie and revoke access to the Services through social networks by updating his/her preferences in the social network he/she specifies.

Analytical cookies: each time a USER visits a service, a tool from an external provider generates an analytical COOKIE on the USER's computer. This COOKIE, which is only generated during the visit, will be used in future visits to INDIDOGS services to anonymously identify the visitor. The main objectives pursued are:

  • Allow anonymous identification of browsing USERS through the “COOKIE” (identifies browsers and devices, not people).
  • Anonymously identify the most visited content and therefore the most attractive to USERS.
  • Know if the USER who is accessing is new or a repeat visitor.

Important: unless the USER decides to register for an INDIDOGS service, the COOKIES will never be associated with any personal data that could identify him/her. These COOKIES will only be used for statistical purposes that help to optimize the USER's experience on the website.
