When we talk about a leash being strong and durable, we mean that it won't break no matter how much the dog pulls, but if you let your dog chew on it, any leash that isn't a chain will quickly break.
Why do we recommend 3M straps?
If you live in a city like Barcelona and want to use a leash that provides comfort and freedom, the recommendation is usually between 2 and 5 meters. Personally, I prefer 3 meters, 2 meters seems too short and 5 meters too long to handle in crowded spaces. I also think it is a good distance, in case you are teaching your dog to go free, and you release it, leaving the leash loose, in case you have to make any corrections.
